The decision was made after the case went viral and the agency received citizen complaints showing the driver in another light: driving at over 150 km/h while filming herself. ANSV clarified that the measure "has no relation to the act of violence she suffered," but is based on images that "exhibit her dangerous behavior at the wheel." The agency identified the driver through the footage and requested her disqualification for "reckless conduct" and "endangering third parties." In addition to the high speed, ANSV detected another serious violation: "in various media reports, a minor detail was also perceived: her vehicle does not have a rear license plate." The driver will now have to be notified by the jurisdiction that issued her license and "subsequently evaluated to demonstrate that she can drive without posing a danger on the streets."
